Durrette, Arkema, Gerson & Gill PC celebrates 35 years of being in business!!  The law office of Durrette, Irvin & Lemons, P.C. was established on October 19, 1988.  Over the years the shareholders have varied and so has the name of the firm, but Durrette has remained a constant.  We are home to several prominent Judges: Don Lemons joined the Richmond Circuit Court and then went on to become the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia (now retired), Brad Cavedo was appointed to the Richmond bench, Victoria Willis is currently presiding in Stafford Circuit Court and Elizabeth Gunn is serving as the first women U. S.Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Columbia. These current and former Judges speak to the enduring quality and commitment to the Firm’s Attorneys and the superb service to their clients.  Choosing to remain small and collegial, our firm has nine (9) attorneys and concentrates its practice primarily in litigation of virtually all kinds, and a strong business practice, as well as taxation, trusts, and estates.  The firm is consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the best in Richmond and our lawyers appear annually in the various ranking agencies that rate the top 3 to 5% of lawyers in Virginia.
